Celebrating the Month of October

October is a time of subtle change. As Summer yields to its more colorful successor, I celebrate the cooler mornings and, from my deck, watch the leaves turn golden, one by one.

This is also the month we must celebrate but also sadly mourn a great writer. The one who gave us the “Red October,” has left us. Tom Clancy will be missed.

  1. Cooler days and nights are always something to celebrate after a hot summer. And though it is sad that Tom Clancy is one, we can always celebrate his work (I love Red October and Executive Orders)

  4. Nice visual in your description. Funny how the change of weather and scenery changes our moods.

It's always good to celebrate life - Clancy's clan has much to celebrate! Writer’s Mark
